Description

Hidden Clips for Ipe Wood Deck Tiles fit into the kerf cuts on the corners of each tile, fixing them to the top of the pedestals to interconnect the patio as a unified system.  Ipe clips are hidden and pin down the tiles without penetrating or damaging them.  Ipe deck tile hidden clips are compatible with SD-M, SD-L and SD-XL pedestals.

Box Contents: Hidden clips for Ipe wood deck tiles are sold in a box of 50 clips which includes 100 screws and 100 washers.

Installation: Use a screw driver to drive the screw and washer into the top of the center pedestals just until it “bites”.  Set up your first four pedestals and place the first tile on top by sliding the washers into the kerf cuts on the corners of the Ipe wood deck tile.  Level the Ipe tile.  Next, drive your wind uplift clips into the next two pedestals and place your second tile next to the first one.  Level each tile and leave the washer loose until at least two tiles are placed on top.  Then use a drill bit to screw the washer down a bit more.  The washer should only be tightened enough so the tiles don’t move up and down much but you can still slide additional tiles under the washer.  Do not overtighten them.
